Tasty Caramel Scones

1/2 cup            Robert Rothschild Farm Caramel Sauce

2 Tbsp.            Butter, melted

2 cups                         Flour

1/2 tsp.            Salt

1 Tbsp.            Baking powder

2 Tbsp.            Sugar

1 cup               Heavy cream


Preheat oven to 425 degrees F. Combine the Caramel Sauce and melted butter. Pour into a 9-inch round cake pan. In a large bowl, sift together the dry ingredients. Gradually add enough cream to form soft dough. Knead lightly on a floured surface 10 times. Roll out the dough 3/4-inch thickness. Using a circle cutter, cut out scones, re-rolling scrap pieces as needed. Place scones in the prepared pan. Bake 10 - 12 minutes or until golden brown. Carefully invert onto a plate and serve.
