Sweet and Spicy Black Bean Hummus- a creamy new take on hummus. Black beans create a rich color and texture for this tasty dip and a touch of heat from our classic Hot Pepper Raspberry Preserves give a depth of heat and sweetness. All of the ingredients take a whirl in a the bowl of a food processor and emerge as a smooth and creamy hummus ready to enjoy in just 10 minutes.

1 (15 oz.) can Black beans, drained and rinsed
4 cloves Garlic
2 Tbsp. Robert Rothschild Farm Hot Pepper Raspberry Preserves
2 Tbsp. Olive oil
2 Tbsp. Tahini
1 Tbsp. Lime juice
2 tsp. Cumin
2 tsp. Chili powder
2 Tbsp. Cilantro, fresh
4 - 6 dashes Hot sauce
2 Tbsp. Plain Greek yogurt, to garnish, optional
In the bowl of a food processor, add black beans, garlic, Hot Pepper Raspberry Preserves, olive oil, Tahini, lime juice, cumin, chili powder, cilantro and hot sauce. Process on HIGH until smooth. To serve, spoon hummus into bowl. Garnish with yogurt and additional cumin and chili powder, if desired. Serve with tortilla chips, vegetables or your choice of dippers.
