A deep dish pizza filled to the top with layers of Italian sausage, Roasted Red Pepper & Onion Dip, mozzarella and Parmesan cheese. Pizza night just got a whole lot tastier!
1 can (13.8 oz) Refrigerated Pillsbury Classic Pizza Crust
3 cups Mozzarella cheese, divided
1 cup Mild Italian sausage, cooked
3/4 cup Robert Rothschild Farm Roasted Red Pepper & Onion Dip
1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, shredded
Preheat oven to 400° F.
Unroll pizza crust dough in a 12-inch oven proof skillet. Press dough into an even layer on bottom and at least halfway up the side of pan. Prick the bottom and sides of pan with a fork.
Bake the crust for 15 - 20 minutes or until crust is light golden brown.
While crust is baking, add Roasted Red Pepper & Onion Dip and cooked sausage to a skillet over medium high heat and cook 5 - 10 minutes, or until most of the liquid is cooked off.
Sprinkle 2 cups of mozzarella cheese over crust.
Top cheese with sausage mixture, then add remaining 1 cup of mozzarella cheese, then sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
Bake pizza for 30 more minutes or until crust is golden brown.
