Tuna Tartare Cups

These lovely little appetizers featuring Wasabi Sesame Oil Infused with Wasabi & Sesame are perfect for any party.

Ingredients

  • 1 package Wonton wrappers
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 Green onion, minced
  • 3 Tbsp. Robert Rothschild Farm Wasabi Sesame Oil Infused with Wasabi & Sesame
  • 1/2 lb. Ahi or Yellowfin tuna, diced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup Mayonnaise
  • 1 Tbsp. Cilantro, minced
  • 1 Tbsp. Lime juice
  • 1 Tbsp. Robert Rothschild Farm Wasabi Sesame Oil Infused with Wasabi & Sesame
  • Directions
    1. Spray mini muffin pan with non-stick cooking spray. Press wonton wrapper into each recess to form wonton cup. Bake in a 350 degrees F oven for 5-6 minutes.
    2. Remove cups from muffin pan, place on a baking sheet and bake an additional 3-4 minutes until lightly browned and crispy.
    3. In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together the lemon juice, green onion and Wasabi Sesame Oil. Pour over the diced tuna and mix well. Season with salt and pepper.
    4. Meanwhile, in a separate bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, cilantro, lemon juice and Wasabi Sesame Oil.
    5. To assemble, spoon a little mayonnaise mixture into each wonton cup and top with a large spoonful of tuna mixture.
