Strawberry Balsamic Fig Crostini

A delicious crostini recipe featuring our Strawberry Balsamic Sauce.

Ingredients

  • 1 French baguette
  • Olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Goat cheese, softened
  • 1 package Calimyrna figs, sliced thin
  • Robert Rothschild Farm Strawberry Balsamic Sauce
  • Directions
    1. Slice the French baguette into 1/4 inch slices, cut on a bias (diagonal). Place 12 slices onto a baking sheet and lightly brush top surface with olive oil. Season each slice with a little salt and pepper and place into a 375 degrees F oven. Bake for about 5-6 minutes until lightly brown and slightly crisp. Remove and allow to cool.
    2. Spread a layer of goat cheese on top of each crostini. Drizzle with a little Strawberry Balsamic Sauce over the goat cheese. Finish by topping with some slices of fig.
