Southwest Beefy Mac

A hearty beefy mac recipe featuring our Southwest Dip.

Ingredients

  • 1-1 1/2 lbs. Ground beef
  • 1/2 Tbsp. Chipotle chili powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 3 Tbsp. Butter
  • 3 Tbsp. Flour
  • 1 1/2 cups Milk
  • 1/3 cup Honey cream
  • 1/2 cup Robert Rothschild Farm Southwest Dip
  • 8 oz Sharp white cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 lb. Your favorite pasts, cooked
  • Directions
    1. In a frying pan, brown ground beef with chili powder and salt/pepper. Drain off excess fat. Make roux by melting butter in saucepan and mixing in flour. Whisk milk, cream and Southwest Dip into roux mixture and bring to boil. Reduce to simmer, add cheese and mix well. Season with salt and pepper.
    2. In a large mixing bowl or pan, add cheese sauce, macaroni and beef. Mix well and serve.
