Salsa Chicken

A tantalizing chicken recipe featuring our Tomatillo Salsa Verde.

Ingredients

  • 4 Chicken breast halves, skinless, boneless
  • 4 tsp. Taco seasoning mix
  • 1 cup Robert Rothschild Farm Tomatillo Salsa Verde
  • 1 cup Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 2 Tbsp. Sour cream, optional
  • Directions
    1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Place chicken breasts in a lightly greased 9x13 inch baking dish. Sprinkle taco seasoning on both sides of chicken breast, and pour Tomatillo Salsa Verde over all.
    2. Bake at 375 degrees F for 25-35 minutes, or until chicken is tender and juicy and its juices run clear.
    3. Sprinkle chicken evenly with cheese, and continue baking for an additional 3-5 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly. Top with sour cream if desired, and serve.
