Salmon Burger with Spanakopita Sauce

A delicious salmon burger topped with a sauce featuring our Raspberry Wasabi Dipping Mustard and Horseradish Tartar Sauce.

Ingredients

  • For Salmon Burgers:
  • 12 oz. Salmon
  • 1 Egg
  • 1/4 cup Onion, minced
  • 1 tsp. Garlic, minced
  • 2 Tbsp. Mayonnaise
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 1 Tbsp. Robert Rothschild Farm Raspberry Wasabi Dipping Mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Vegetable oil for frying
  • For Topping:
  • 1/4 cup Frozen spinach, thawed, drained
  • 1/2 cup Robert Rothschild Farm Horseradish Tartar Sauce
  • 1/2 cup Feta cheese, crumbled
  • Salt to taste
  • Directions
    1. Mix all salmon burger ingredients together in a large mixing bowl. Form into patties. Heat oil in a sauté pan and fry salmon burgers for a few minutes on each side to brown. Finish cooking burgers in a 350 degrees F oven for about 15-20 minutes.
    2. In the meantime, squeeze the spinach in a paper towel to remove as much excess water as possible.
    3. In another smaller mixing bowl, mix together the spinach, Horseradish Tartar Sauce and feta cheese. Season with salt and pepper.
    4. To serve, place salmon burgers on a bun and spread a generous dollop of spanakopita sauce on top.
