Rothschild Brie En Croute with Triple Berry Preserves

A terrific Brie recipe featuring our Triple Berry Preserves.

Ingredients

  • 1 package Frozen puff pastry
  • 1 Round Brie, 14 oz.
  • 1/2 cup Robert Rothschild Farm Triple Berry Preserves
  • 1 Egg, beaten with 1 tsp. water
  • Directions
    1. Cut one 7 inch circle and one 9 inch circle from the pastry. Keep cold. Cut brie in half horizontally. Spread Triple Berry Preserves on bottom half. Replace top.
    2. Center brie on the 7 inch circle. Brush egg and water on pastry from cheese to pastry edge. Cover with 9 inch circle and press gently on top piece of dough at edges to seal the two together.
    3. Freeze until the dough is firm but not frozen (about 10 minutes). Bake in preheated 400 degrees F oven until light brown.
    4. Serve with melba toast or crackers.
