Roasted Garlic & Fig Baked Beans

A tasty baked beans recipe featuring our Roasted Garlic & Fig Spread.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. Pinto beans, dried, soaked overnight
  • 1/2 lb. Bacon, chopped
  • 8 cups Water
  • 1 cup Onion, chopped
  • 1/2 cup Ketchup
  • 3/4 cup Robert Rothschild Farm Roasted Garlic & Fig Spread
  • 1/4 cup Apple cider vinegar
  • Directions
    1. Place beans in a large bowl. Add enough water to cover by 3 inches. Let stand overnight.
    2. Drain beans and set aside. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Cook bacon in a heavy large pot until crisp, about 8 minutes.
    3. Add beans and all remaining ingredients to pot. Bring to a boil. Transfer pot to oven.
    4. Bake uncovered until beans are tender and liquid thickens, stirring occasionally, about 4 hours.
