Raspberry Czech Republic Bars

These delightful dessert bars feature our Red Raspberry Preserves.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1/2 lb. Oleo or margarine
  • 2 Egg yolks
  • 2 cups Flour, sifted
  • 1 cup English walnuts, optional
  • 1 cup Robert Rothschild Farm Red Raspberry Preserves
  • Directions
    1. Cream oleo or margarine, add sugar, beat until fluffy with mixer. Add egg yolks and blend well. Gradually add flour, mix well. Stir in chopped nuts. Add a little salt and vanilla. Spoon 1/2 mixture into greased 7 1/2 x 12 inch pan. Even out with fingers. Spread Red Raspberry Preserves over mixture. Dot in remaining batter. Bake 40-45 minutes at 325 degrees F. Cut while warm.
