Raspberry Cake

A delectable cake recipe featuring our Raspberry Dressing.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups Sugar
  • 3/4 cup Vegetable oil
  • 3 Eggs
  • 1/2 cup Robert Rothschild Farm Raspberry Dressing
  • 1 tsp. Vanilla extract
  • 2 cups Flour
  • 1 tsp. Baking soda
  • 2 Tbsp. Butter
  • 1 package Raspberries
  • 1/3 cup Walnuts, ground
  • Directions
    1. In mixer, combine the sugar, oil, eggs, Raspberry Dressing and vanilla until smooth. Continue mixing and add flour and baking soda. Mix until smooth.
    2. Grease 9 x 13 baking pan with butter. Pour half of the cake batter into baking pan and spread evenly along bottom of pan. Place raspberries on top of this cake batter layer. Top raspberries with the ground walnuts.
    3. Pour the remaining cake batter on top and spread out evenly. Place cake into preheated 350 degree F oven and bake for 45-55 minutes. Check for doneness with toothpick. Remove from oven and cool completely. Slice and serve.
