Mango Mahi-Mahi Taco

A delicious taco recipe featuring our Mango Salsa.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Flour
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp. Cayenne pepper
  • 2 filets Mahi Mahi or other fish
  • 1/4 cup Vegetable oil
  • 10-12 Flour tortillas
  • Plain yogurt
  • Robert Rothschild Farm Mango Salsa
  • 1 Lime
  • Lettuce or cabbage, shredded
  • Monterey Jack cheese, shredded
  • Directions
    1. Season flour with salt, pepper and cayenne pepper. Mix well. Cut Mahi Mahi filets into thin strips. Season with salt and pepper and then coat with flour. Shake off excess.
    2. Heat oil in a frying pan. Add Mahi Mahi strips and cook until golden brown on both sides. (Helpful hint: Fish takes approximately 10 minutes per inch thickness to cook.)
    3. To assemble, place a few slices of Mahi Mahi in a soft tortilla, spoon some plain yogurt and Mango Salsa on top of fish, then add a squeeze of lime juice and finish with shredded cabbage and cheese.
