Limon Pepper Salmon in Pastry

A tasty salmon recipe featuring our Limon Pepper Meat, Fish & Poultry Rub.

Ingredients

  • 2 Salmon filets, 4 oz.
  • 6 Tbsp. Robert Rothschild Farm Limon Pepper Meat, Fish & Poultry Rub
  • 2 Puff pastries, thawed, cut in 5x5 inch squares
  • 1/4 cup Butter
  • 2 Tbsp. Flour
  • 1/2 cup Heavy cream
  • Directions
    1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Rub salmon with 4 tablespoons of Limon Pepper Meat, Fish & Poultry Rub. Place in pastry and wrap placing seam side down on pan lined with parchment paper. Bake at 375 degrees F for about 15 minutes until salmon is done and pastry is golden brown.
    2. Meanwhile, melt butter in a small saucepan. Stir in 2 tablespoons of Limon Pepper Meat, Fish & Poultry Rub and flour until the flour is a touch tan and then add cream. Bring to a boil, constantly stirring, until slightly thickened. Remove from heat.
    3. Serve with baked salmon.
