Lamb Sliders with Red Pepper Cumin Sauce

Tantalizing lamb burgers are accentuated with Sweet Red Pepper Cream Cheese Spread and cumin.

Ingredients

  • For Lamb Burgers:
  • 12 oz. Lamb, ground
  • 1 Egg
  • 1/4 cup Onion, minced
  • 1 tsp. Garlic, minced
  • 2 Tbsp. Mayonnaise
  • 2/3 cup Breadcrumbs
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Vegetable oil for frying
  • For Topping:
  • 3/4 cup Robert Rothschild Farm Sweet Red Pepper Cream Cheese Spread
  • 1/4 cup Cream
  • 1 Tbsp. Cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Directions
    1. Mix all lamb burger ingredients together in a large mixing bowl except vegetable oil. Form into patties.
    2. Heat oil in a sauté pan and fry lamb burgers for a few minutes on each side to brown or grill for 3-4 minutes per side instead of frying. Finish cooking burgers in a 350 degrees F oven for about 15-20 minutes.
    3. In a separate smaller mixing bowl, mix together the Sweet Red Pepper Cream Cheese Spread, cream and cumin. Season with salt and pepper.
    4. To serve, place lamb burgers on a bun and spread a generous dollop of red pepper cumin sauce on top.
