Honey Mustard & Tomato Swiss Steak

Swiss steak is cooked with Raspberry Honey Mustard Pretzel Dip, stewed tomatoes and red onion for a great main course dish.

Ingredients

  • 4 lbs. Swiss steak, boneless
  • 2 Tbsp. Olive oil
  • 1/2 cup Robert Rothschild Farm Raspberry Honey Mustard Pretzel Dip
  • 14.5 oz. Stewed tomatoes
  • 1 medium Red onion, sliced thin
  • Directions
    1. Heat a large skillet and add olive oil. Brown Swiss steak on both sides. Pour Raspberry Honey Mustard Pretzel Dip on top and cover skillet. Cook on medium heat for 30 minutes. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
    2. Place onions on top of steak and cover with stewed tomatoes. Cover pan and bake at 350 degrees F for 45 minutes or until fork tender.
    3. May also cook completely on top of stove being careful to control the heat to prevent burning.
