Grilled Pineapple

A unique and tasty recipe featuring our Raspberry Chocolate Pretzel Dip.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup Sugar
  • 1/4 cup Marsala wine
  • 3 Tbsp. Robert Rothshcild Farm Raspberry Chocolate Pretzel Dip
  • 5 Egg yolks
  • 1 Pineapple, fresh
  • 1/2 cup Balsamic vinegar
  • 1 cup Brown sugar
  • Pecans, chopped
  • Macadamia nuts, chopped
  • Directions
    1. In a double boiler, whisk together the sugar, wine, Raspberry Chocolate Pretzel Dip and egg yolks. Continue whisking in double boiler until mixture is foamy and thickened. Set aside.
    2. Clean and slice pineapple. Dip in balsamic vinegar and coat with brown sugar. Place on hot grill or grill pan. Cook until tender and slightly browned on both sides.
    3. Place pineapple slices on dish, pour sabayon over top and garnish with pecans/macadamia nuts.
