Crepes with Baked Apples and Cinnamon Bun Caramel Dessert Sauce & Dip

Crepes made with our Gourmet Pancake & Waffle Mix are served with baked apples featuring our Cinnamon Bun Caramel Dessert Sauce & Dip.

Ingredients

  • For Crepes:
  • 6 oz. Water
  • 4 Whole eggs
  • 6 oz. Milk
  • 8 oz. Robert Rothschild Farm Gourmet Pancake & Waffle Mix
  • 1/4 tsp. Salt
  • 3 oz. Butter, melted
  • For Baked Apples:
  • 3 Tbsp. Butter
  • 4-5 Granny Smith apples, peeled, sliced
  • 3 Tbsp. Water
  • 3 Tbsp. Sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. Cinnamon
  • 3 Tbsp. Robert Rothschild Farm Cinnamon Bun Caramel Dessert Sauce & Dip
  • Powdered sugar
  • Directions
    1. For crepes: Measure water into a large bowl (save 2 oz. to melt butter in), add eggs, milk, and mix well. Stir in the Gourmet Mix and salt. Add the melted butter and beat until batter is smooth. Grease a non-stick saute pan or griddle with butter. Pour a quarter cup of crepe batter and rotate pan to cover surface and thin batter. Cook until crepe bubbles and begins to brown. Flip and cook an additional 25-30 seconds on other side. Makes approximately 45 6 inch crepes.
    2. For baked apples: Melt butter in a saute pan. Add apples and saute until softened. Add water, sugar, cinnamon and Cinnamon Bun Caramel Dessert Sauce & Dip and mix into apples. Cook 2-3 minutes and remove from heat.
    3. Fill crepe lengthwise with 2 tablespoons of baked apple mixture towards 1 side of crepe. Roll crepe and place on dish. Drizzle warmed Cinnamon Bun Caramel Dessert Sauce & Dip over crepes and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
