Cinnamon Bun Tasty Scones

Scones are made all the better with our Cinnamon Bun Caramel Dessert Sauce & Dip.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Flour
  • 1/2 tsp. Salt
  • 1 Tbsp. Baking powder
  • 2 Tbsp. Sugar
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 2 Tbsp. Butter, melted
  • 1/3 cup Robert Rothschild Farm Cinnamon Bun Caramel Dessert Sauce & Dip
  • Directions
    1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees F. Combine melted butter and Cinnamon Bun Caramel Dessert Sauce & Dip. Pour into a 9 inch round cake pan. Reserve.
    2. In a large bowl, sift together the dry ingredients. Gradually add enough of the cream to form soft dough. Knead lightly on a floured board about 10 times. Handling the dough gently helps to retain the air needed for the dough to rise.
    3. Roll out the dough to 1/2-3/4 inch thickness. Using a biscuit cutter, cut out scones and place in a prepared cake pan. Bake in a preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
