Cilantro Pesto Shrimp Small Plate

There is nothing small about the flavor that this dish has, especially the Wasabi Sesame Oil Infused with Wasabi & Sesame.

Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp. Robert Rothschild Farm Wasabi Sesame Oil Infused with Wasabi & Sesame
  • 1/2 lb. Shrimp
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup Cilantro leaves
  • 1 tsp. Garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup Peanuts
  • 3 Tbsp. Robert Rothschild Farm Wasabi Sesame Oil Infused with Wasabi & Sesame
  • 2 Tbsp. Olive oil
  • 6 oz. Soba noodles, cooked
  • Directions
    1. Heat Wasabi Sesame Oil in a medium sauté pan. Season shrimp with salt and pepper and sauté for 4-5 minutes then remove from heat.
    2. Meanwhile, chop the cilantro leaves, garlic and peanuts in a food processor. While still running, slowly drizzle the Wasabi Sesame Oil and olive oil into mixture. Season with salt and pepper.
    3. Place sauté pan with shrimp over medium heat and add cilantro pesto sauce to shrimp. Toss lightly to coat and remove from heat.
    4. To serve, arrange a small amount of cooked soba noodles in middle of a small plate. Place a few shrimp over noodles with cilantro pesto sauce and enjoy.
