Chop House Snicle

Tiny little ground beef patties are served with our Chop House Steak Sauce.

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs. Ground beef
  • 1 small Yellow onion, diced
  • 1 Egg
  • 1/3 cup Robert Rothschild Farm Chop House Steak Sauce
  • 2 slices White bread, cubed
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Flour for dredging
  • 3 Eggs, whisked for coating
  • Vegetable oil for frying
  • Directions
    1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the first 6 ingredients and knead together with hands. Shape into balls (about the size of golf balls). Flatten into a thin patty, dredge on both sides with flour and shake off excess. Coat all patties before moving onto next step.
    2. Heat vegetable oil in a large frying pan about 1/4 inch high. Dip floured patties in egg on both sides to coat lightly, then coat with flour on both sides and place into the frying pan.
    3. Fry on each side for approximately 5 minutes until nicely browned. Serve with some additional Chop House Steak Sauce on the side.
