Chocolate Cherry Acai Dessert Pizza

This sweet and devilishly delightful pizza features both our Raspberry Chocolate Pretzel Dip and Cherry Acai Preserves.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Milk
  • 5 Egg yolks
  • 1/2 cup Sugar
  • 1/4 cup Cornstarch
  • 1 Tbsp. Robert Rothschild Farm Raspberry Chocolate Pretzel Dip
  • 2 Frozen pizza crusts, thawed
  • 1 jar Robert Rothschild Farm Cherry Acai Preserves
  • Directions
    1. In a large saucepan, bring milk to a boil and remove from heat.
    2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the egg yolks, sugar, cornstarch and Raspberry Chocolate Pretzel Dip. Temper the egg mixture by whisking in some heated milk. Once egg mixture is tempered, whisk egg mixture back into milk. Return to heat and bring back up to a boil. Continue whisking mixture until it has thickened. Remove from heat.
    3. Pour into a bowl and cover with plastic wrap with plastic directly touching surface of custard. Place mixture in refrigerator for a minimum of 3 hours.
    4. Place pizza crusts on a baking pan and bake in a 375 degrees F oven for 5 minutes. Remove and spread pastry cream onto each crust.
    5. Finally, spoon some Cherry Açaí Preserves in a swirl pattern on top of pastry cream and bake pizza in a 375 degrees F oven for 13-15 minutes.
