Chocolate Buttermilk Pudding

A lovely buttermilk pudding is made all the better with the inclusion of our Chocolate Fudge Pretzel Dip.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Robert Rothschild Farm Chocolate Fudge Pretzel Dip
  • 1 cup Molasses, unsulfured
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 2 1/2 cups Flour
  • 1 tsp. Baking soda
  • 1 cup Butter
  • 1 cup Buttermilk
  • 4 Eggs, beaten
  • Directions
    1. Cream together eggs, butter and sugar in the bowl of an electric mixer, stir in molasses, flour and buttermilk. Dissolve baking soda and 1 teaspoon hot water. Combine well with other ingredients.
    2. Fill crock pot 1/4 full with water and set on medium heat.
    3. Grease and flour a large metal coffee can, fill with mixture and cover with aluminum foil. Steam in crock pot for 4-5 hours or until probed center comes back clean.
    4. Serve warm or chilled and topped with warmed Chocolate Fudge Pretzel Dip.
