Americana Layered Cake

Wild Maine Blueberry Preserves brings the blue and Red Raspberry Preserves brings the red for this Americana Layered Angel Food Cake.

Ingredients

  • 1 Angel food cake, 16 oz.
  • 8 oz. Whipped topping
  • Powdered sugar, as needed
  • 1 jar Robert Rothschild Farm Red Raspberry Preserves
  • 1 jar Robert Rothschild Farm Wild Maine Blueberry Preserves
  • Raspberries and blueberries, as desired
  • Directions
    1. Cut angel food cake into 3 layers.
    2. Mix 6 oz. whipping cream and powdered sugar together. Divide in half and add half to Wild Maine Blueberry Preserves and half to Red Raspberry Preserves and mix well.
    3. Place one layer of the cake on a cake platter and spread the raspberry mixture on top. Place another layer of cake on and layer that with the blueberry mixture. Add the final layer and top with whipped topping. Garnish with raspberries and blueberries.
